On July 4, the grand finale of the 2026 "Myriad Moments · Carefree Huairou" Cultural Tourism Revitalization Program — the "Myriad Moments · Carefree Huairou" Carnival — concluded successfully at Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area.
Co-hosted by the Huairou District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Huairou District Tourism Industry Association, and Beijing Radio & Television Station's Arts and Culture Radio, the event was hosted at Mutianyu Great Wall — Huairou's landmark cultural tourism destination. Leveraging its expansive plaza facilities, world-class Great Wall vistas, and mature all-for-one vacation offerings, Mutianyu served as the magnificent backdrop for this milestone closing event, supporting Huairou's cultural tourism upgrade.

Since March this year, the "Myriad Moments · Carefree Huairou" program has tapped into Huairou's mountain landscapes, rural spaces, specialty merchants, and micro-vacation consumption scenarios. Bringing together tourism experts, industry leaders, influencers, and community enthusiasts, the program launched eight themed experience groups — sports cars, motorcycles, cycling, photography, yoga, family activities, coffee, and gourmet dining — and developed eight distinctive micro-vacation routes.
The closing ceremony was brimming with atmosphere, as government officials, industry leaders, experience ambassadors, and merchant representatives gathered at the foot of the Great Wall to discuss Huairou's cultural tourism future. Awards were presented for specialty coffee, signature dishes, best experiences, and outstanding tourism service stars, providing visitors with an authentic, practical guide to exploring Huairou.

At the ceremony, Zhang Rui, Director of Beijing Radio & Television Station's Arts and Culture Radio Center, introduced two long-term initiatives: the "My Huairou Circle of Friends" tourism alliance and the "Carefree Huairou Passport".
Representatives from the Huairou District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Huairou District Tourism Industry Association, Beijing Radio & Television Station's Arts and Culture Radio, local merchants, and themed experience groups jointly activated the launch ceremony. As gift boxes symbolizing the "Carefree Huairou Passport" opened, passport models ascended with balloons — signifying that Huairou's cultural tourism revitalization achievements are moving from the event site into a new phase of long-term operation and continuous promotion.

Held at Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, the closing carnival took full advantage of the site's spacious plaza, complete facilities, and unrivaled Great Wall views to create an immersive interactive cultural tourism experience. On the day, main stage performances and Huairou specialty markets opened simultaneously, offering a one-stop carnival experience of "watch shows, browse markets, taste food, try activities, and win rewards."
The themed market featured nearly 50 local Huairou vendors, covering agricultural specialties, original Great Wall cultural creative products, coffee, light meals, ice cream, and more — with photo installations and interactive experiences throughout. Yoga challenges, BMX demonstrations, and swing dance sessions echoed the eight themed vacation routes, condensing Huairou's slow-paced mountain life into a single venue at the Great Wall's foot, creating an atmosphere where "performance and browsing blend together, with great food, fun activities, and perfect photo opportunities."
