In order to ensure the safety of visitors, Mutianyu Great Wall will commence cultural relics restoration construction on the wall section between No.19 Watchtower and No.20 Watchtower with effect from April 7, 2026.

During the construction period, the area from 10 meters above the Hero Slope at No.19 Watchtower to No.20 Watchtower shall be placed under temporary closed management. For visitors intending to visit No.21 Watchtower to No.23 Watchtower, detour via the ecological trail outside the city wall is available.

The scenic area will separately announce the reopening time in accordance with the construction progress. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to your visit by this restoration work.
