On October 13th, the plenary session of the Global Women's Summit was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. After attending the meeting, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of UN Women Sima Sami Bahous, along with her delegation, visited Mutianyu Great Wall on October 15th. Guo Min, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Tourism Service Co., Ltd., accompanied the delegation during the visit, and both parties expressed sincere blessings.

Before ascending the Great Wall, Ms. Guo Min briefly introduced the general situation of Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area and its characteristic scenic spots to Ms. Bahous and her delegation, laying a good foundation for this pleasant visit.

Subsequently, Ms. Bahous and her delegation took the enclosed cable car to the Cable Car Downhill Station Platform. Upon arrival, they were immediately attracted by the wonderful intangible cultural heritage performances.

During the tour, while listening to the tour guide's explanation, Ms. Bahous and her delegation also asked the guide about the long history and culture of the Great Wall of China, as well as the defensive facilities and architectural conditions of Mutianyu Great Wall. They could not help but praise the great wisdom of the ancient Chinese people.

In recent years, with the successful completion of various foreign affairs reception tasks at the scenic area, it has not only shown the beautiful scenery of Mutianyu Great Wall to the world, but also influenced every friend from around the world with its profound historical culture.
