In order to inherit and promote the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, to bridge the "last mile" of cultural services, and to promote the common prosperity of urban and rural culture, the "People's Weekend Stage" special performance of Huairou District in 2024, sponsored by the District Cultural and Tourism Bureau, will enter Mutianyu Great Wall on July 13-14, officially kicking off the grassroots public welfare performance of Huairou District in 2024.
In this event, Beijing Fumingyuan Art Troupe will be invited to perform traditional Chinese opera on the Great Wall. They will use Chinese opera to interpret the artistic conception that cannot be expressed by poetry. This performance combines Chinese culture with night tours, promoting the integration of culture and tourism. Three representative works of Hebei Bangzi (a kind of opera) will be selected to be performed at the platform of No. 14 watchtower at 19:00 on July 13th and 14th.
