The Great Wall is an important carrier of the precious spiritual resources and material wealth accumulated by human civilization. 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of "Love China, Repair the Great Wall". Mutianyu Great Wall will take this opportunity to carry out a series of cultural activities. From April 1st to December 31st, 2024, the "Mutianyu Great Wall in My Eyes" Photography and Short Video Contest will be held. The aim of this event is to leave the beautiful scenery of the Great Wall in the hearts of visitors and make them consciously shoulder the responsibility of protecting the Great Wall.
This event will combine online and offline activities to spread the beautiful pictures and short videos of Mutianyu Great Wall in different seasons, adding fun and participation for visitors. At the same time, it will increase the popularity of Mutianyu Great Wall scenic area and further enhance the brand influence of Mutianyu scenic area.

05 Event Content
(1) Entry Requirements
1. Participants: Open to the public
2. Entry Subject:
The theme of this event is the four seasons scenery of Mutianyu Great Wall. The entries should reflect certain information and convey positive and healthy messages through appropriate thematic expressions, reflecting a close connection with nature.
3. Camera Type: There are no restrictions on the shooting equipment and model for this event. Mobile phones, digital cameras, film cameras, etc. are all acceptable.
4. Entry Requirements:
Photography entries: The specifications of the works should be above 3MB, with clear images, in JPG format, and there is no limit to the number of entries. The entries must be works that the entrants themselves have the copyright to.
Short video entries: The submitted works should have clear images, smooth sound quality, and excellent quality. The recommended duration is 15 seconds to 180 seconds, with a video aspect ratio of 16:9 widescreen and a video resolution of 720P or above. The entries must be works that the entrants themselves have the copyright to.
5. Content Requirements:
The works must be taken at Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, and the content should be in line with the theme of the contest, healthy and positive, and should not contain low-level and unhealthy content.
6. Final Interpretation
Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Tourism Service Co., Ltd. has the right to use the entries and regularly display them online and offline. Mutianyu Great Wall company has the final interpretation right of this event.
(2) Activity Schedule
1. Entry Collection Period: April 1st to November 15th
2. Judging Period: November 21st to November 30th
3. Announcement of Winners: December 5th

(4) Judging Criteria
1. Round One: After the entry collection period, the evaluation committee will select 200 photography works and 200 sets of short video works to enter the second round of judging
2. Round Two: Judging will be conducted through online voting: The entries that have passed the committee’s review will be announced on the official website, and netizens can vote freely (one vote per day per IP address for the same work).
3. Judging will be conducted through online voting, and the number of votes will account for 50% of the total score.
4. The evaluation committee will score the entries, and the scores will account for 50% of the total score.
5. The final comprehensive score will be calculated based on the votes and scores from the evaluation committee.

Claim instructions: After the announcement, the winners need to provide their ID number, and the offline awarding activity will be organised by Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Tourism Service Co., Ltd. The time limit for receiving the hotel accommodation is from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025, and it is necessary to call the hotel to make a reservation 3 working days in advance, and it is not available on statutory holidays. The winning rights and benefits can only be collected and used by the winner himself/herself, and are not transferable.
