On the morning of October 16th, Chilean President Gabriel and his entourage visited and toured the Mutianyu Great Wall. Dong Li, Chairman of Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Tourism Services Co., Ltd., accompanied the tour.

President Gabriel and his entourage arrived at the Great Wall by an upgraded and renovated enclosed cable car. They stopped at the cable car platform and looked at the magnificent Mutianyu Great Wall. President Gabriel was particularly excited and repeatedly praised the grandeur of the Great Wall.

During the tour, President Gabriel occasionally stopped to gaze and marvel at the great wisdom of the ancients.

Afterwards, President Gabriel wrote a gift message that read, "On behalf of the Chilean people, I am honored to visit the Great Wall. It symbolizes the Chinese people's love and yearning for peace in history, and today it witnesses the perfect encounter between different ethnic groups and nature. Salute to its history and future!" Dong Li, Chairman of Mutianyu Company, also presented him with a beautiful Mutianyu Great Wall gift, and both sides expressed their sincerest wishes.

President Gabriel left a handwritten gift message.

The Great Wall is a symbol of the Chinese nation and a bridge that links the Chinese people and people around the world. It plays an increasingly important role in the practice of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the promotion of "building a community with a shared future for mankind."
