Since the Huairou Food Map competition began in April, Yisonglou Restaurant actively participated, refining culinary skills and carefully selecting ingredients. After expert on-site evaluations, the restaurant successfully made it to the final round. In mid-August, led by Head Chef Li Dongli, Yisonglou competed in the finals, emerging from over 60 top restaurants with an impressive score of 86, securing fifth place district-wide. Both dishes were successfully featured in the Huairou Food Map's "Authentic Local Flavors" section.

Yisonglou Restaurant, nestled at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall, boasts an elegant and rustic design that blends harmoniously with the surrounding mountains. The restaurant's tranquil setting, just a short distance from the Great Wall entrance, offers visitors a perfect spot to relax and enjoy an authentic culinary experience after exploring the historic site.

The restaurant features two main dining halls and three private rooms, accommodating over 400 guests. It specializes in Sichuan and Shandong cuisine, as well as local Huairou specialties and home-style dishes. Yisonglou offers a serene dining environment and a diverse, meticulously prepared menu.

Yisonglou Restaurant offers a rich selection of signature dishes. Since the "World Guobaorou Restaurant" unveiling ceremony in July, it has attracted numerous visitors, earning widespread acclaim. Among its highlights, the Chestnut-Braised Pork and Snout dishes, recently featured in the Huairou Food Map, stand out for their perfectly balanced flavors and lingering taste.

Chestnut-Braised Pork is a signature dish at Yisonglou Restaurant, known for its unique texture and authentic flavors. The dish is made using locally sourced ingredients, featuring plump chestnuts from Bohai Town in Huairou District and fresh pork belly. The chestnuts are soaked in warm water for over two hours before being stir-fried with pork belly until the flavors meld perfectly. The natural sweetness of the chestnuts and the rich taste of the pork blend seamlessly, with a special sauce added during seasoning to enhance the overall flavor, offering an exquisite taste experience.

Snout is another premium specialty at Yisonglou Restaurant, known for its rich flavor and nourishing qualities. The dish is meticulously prepared using the head of free-range pigs from the mountainous region, with each pig head weighing around 6 to 7.5 kilograms. Upon arrival at the restaurant, the pig head undergoes traditional high-temperature hair removal and is then steamed for five hours to eliminate any gamey taste. It's finished with Yisonglou's exclusive secret sauce and served with fresh cucumber and scallions, all wrapped in a duck pancake. Each bite offers a perfect balance of rich, tender pork that is flavorful yet not greasy, delivering an unforgettable taste experience.

At Yisonglou Restaurant, nestled at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall, visitors can savor the fresh flavors of the mountains and indulge in authentic Huairou cuisine, enjoying gourmet dishes made from carefully selected ingredients. After a day of exploring the Great Wall, relax by the window, sip tea, and relish the unique flavors found only at the Great Wall's base.
