Renowned as the “Number One Cable Car of the Great Wall,” Mutianyu Cable Car offers a breathtaking view. But what do you need to know before boarding?

We recommend purchasing tickets in advance through our official Mutianyu Great Wall account. Upon arrival, present your QR code or other valid credentials at the ticket checkpoint.

Once on the platform, follow the instructions of our staff for a smooth boarding process. Each cable car can accommodate 8 people. Please keep your feet, backpacks, and walking sticks inside the car at all times. The doors will automatically close, so please refrain from manually operating them - it's dangerous.

During the ride, remember to stay seated and refrain from moving around or playing inside the car. In case of an emergency, use the emergency hotline or press the red emergency button. Upon reaching the destination, gather your belongings and follow the guidance of our staff to exit the car.
